Adopt a Nest

The 2026 nesting season began March 21 in the northern Outer Banks. By the first week of June we met our nest adoption goal for the year.

Our nest adoption program, first launched in 2025, was truly amazing. One month after opening the program, we met our goal. This year, it was even quicker!

We would like to extend special thanks to our family of nest adopters in the 2025 and 2026 nesting season for their generosity and support.
